FWD Takaful Berhad (“FWD Takaful’) is delighted to embark on its first Professional Training and Education for Growing Entrepreneurs programme (“PROTEGE") to develop, train and mentor graduates to become future industry leaders as part of its vision to change the way people feel about takaful.
PROTEGE was designed and developed with the aim of equipping Malaysian graduates with the necessary skills and experience to thrive in the takaful industry, with the following objectives.
Lisa Lew, FWD Takaful Chief Human Resources Officer said, “We’re passionate about our employee experience, rewarding the right behaviours, celebrating diversity and providing meaningful work. Our focus for PROTEGE is to cultivate the potential of our youth with industry knowledge and equip them with the best possible skills to thrive in the takaful industry. Our goal has always been about what we can offer them instead of what they can offer us.”
“Right from the start, our PROTEGEs will embark on a comprehensive and structured onboarding programme that systematically exposes them to hands-on roles, as well as the opportunity to familiarise themselves with our company values. We also ensure every department has action plans for their PROTEGEs during the eight months programme so that they can learn more about the takaful business.” she said.
Interested applicants should register at www.protege.my and submit their application to careers.my@fwd.com.
